She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard C. Godsey and Mary Bailey Godsey; her daughter Joyce Ray; and her siblings, James Godsey, Herschel Godsey, Harold Godsey, Bill Godsey, Katherine Cashmore, Marjorie Campbell, Edith Trent and Elizabeth Godsey.

She is survived by: her daughter Dolores Tinsley of Madison Heights; her son-in-law Billy Ray of Madison Heights; her sister Hallie Roope of Concord; her grandsons, Scott Tinsley (Mandy) and Jeff Ray (Lisa); and her great grandchildren, Laura Rush (Luke), Taylor Tinsley (Amanda) and Jordan Tinsley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
