Lisa Renay Gibson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2025, at the age of 61, Lisa Renay Gibson of Madison Heights, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Lisa Renay leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Lisa Renay may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dean Gibson and Gladys Mae Crawford Gibson; her brother John "Dean" Gibson, Jr.; and her close friend Harvey "J. B." Allen. She is survived by: her sister Carolyn (Paul Burgess) of Madison Heights; her nephew Jacob Burgess of Minnesota; and her significant other J. B.. She is also survived by aunts, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Lighthouse Baptist Church (503 Wright Shop Rd, Madison Heights, VA 24572).

The family asks that memorials be made to the Monelison Volunteer Fire Department.
