Leithia Mae Stevens Wood Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leithia Mae Stevens Wood of Madison Heights, Virginia, who passed away on January 3, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Archie Stevens and Frances Brogan Stevens; and her brothers, Archie "Lee" Stevens, Donald "Clen" Stevens and William "Wicky" Stevens.

She is survived by: her husband James Edward Wood; her children, Bobby G. Wood (Kim) and Cathy W. Evans (Garry) of Amherst; her grandchildren, Michael L. Coleman (Samantha) of Belgrade, MT, Travis J. Wood of Concord and Sommer E. McIntyre (Justin) of Huddleston; and her siblings, Mary S. Wood (Ray) and Dwayne Beverly (Debbie) of Shipman. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; family members and friends.

The family will receive friends, prior to the service, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
