It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leeward Elvin Glass of Madison Heights, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Tomlin Glass; his parents, Aubrey Barnhardt Glass and Esther Taylor Sherian; and his siblings, Cleland Glass and Janet Glass Rosser.
He is survived by: his sons, Barry L. Glass (Connie) of Virginia Beach and C. Randall Glass (Stacey) of Dover, NH; his brother Preston Glass (Linda) of Campbell County; his granddaughters, Katie Glass and Megan Glass (Phillip Dennison); and his great grandchild Alexander Holcomb Glass. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
