He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Ogden and Virginia Irene Camden Ogden; and his brother Timothy Ray Ogden. He is survived by: his wife Candace E. Ogden; his son Jonathan Ogden (Katie); his grandchildren, Leighanna Mae of Goode and Nathaniel "Rootie" Ogden of Goode; his daughter Sarah Ogden Davis (Cerrone); his grandchildren, Emma Irene of Lynchburg, Camryn June of Lynchburg, Keira "Keke" of Lynchburg, Bailey Miller of Lynchburg and Makayla Davis of Lynchburg; his daughter Tracey Sloan (Kenny) of Buchanan; his grandchild Tiffany Sloan; his great grandchild Timber Sloan; his siblings, Teresa Maddox (Rick) of Madison Heights, Ann Patterson (Wayne) of Madison Heights, Ricky Ogden of Madison Heights and R. C. Ogden; and his parents-in-law, Charles Clark of Lynchburg and Helen Elliott of Concord.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
