He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Norman Roby and Jean Duvall Roby; and his son Randall Todd Roby. He is survived by: his wife Marie S. Wood; his children, Lance T. Roby (Gina) and Heather Mae Roby; his siblings, J. Michael Roby (Debbie) and Linda R. Huber; his stepchildren, B. D. Wood, Jr. and A. D. Wood (Kim); his grandchildren, Brandon Shawn Roby (Natalie), Chase Lee Roby, Alauna Roby and Cooper Mitchell; and his stepgrandchildren, Brooke Cheatham (Dimitri) and Dillon Wood.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Clifford Baptist Church, 635 Fletchers Level Road, Amherst, VA 24521.
