He is survived by: his wife Marie Carwile; his siblings, Virginia Fitch (Doug) of Concord and James Carwile (Ann) of Concord; his sons, Allen Grubbs of Howardsville, Tim Grubbs of Luray and Michael Grubbs Sr. (Jennifer) of Mocksville, NC; and his grandchildren, Kayla Straub (Shawn) of El Cajon, CA, Tyler Grubbs of Ronceverte, WV, Michael Grubbs Jr. Millersville, MD (Eden), Joshua Grubbs (Kasey) of Gordonsville and Eva Grubbs of Mocksville, NC..
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whitten Timberlake Chapel (7404 Timberlake Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
