He is survived by: his wife Janie Marie Cogar Brunner; his children, Clara Travers, Daisy Childress (Jason) of Madison Heights and John J. Brunner III (Renea) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Hallie "Lucky", Andrew "Dude", James, John "Sparky", Jordan "Jinx" and Cassie "Tickle"; and his siblings, Charles R. Wood (Trudy) of Baltimore, Hallie Emahizer of Baltimore and Rose Welch of Baltimore. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
