He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Foster Nixon; and his parents, Maurice W. Nixon and Amy Rodgers Nixon. He is survived by: his sons, Alan Nixon (Glenda) and Scott Nixon (Jacqueline); his grandchildren, Kelly Wall (David), Jennifer Woodard (Mark), Dylan Nixon (Sandra), Dakota Nixon (Carly) and Drake Nixon (Brynli); and his stepgrandchildren, Nicholas Gowen, Justin Gowen and Olivia Wilkins (Connor). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Elon Baptist Church (145 Younger Dr, Madison Heights, VA 24572). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
