We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Helen Mays Walker of Madison Heights, Virginia, born in Buckingham, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bland Withers Mays and Nannie Sue Mays; her husband Donald Walker; and her siblings, Mary Sue M. Potter, Morton Mays and Lewis Mays.

She is survived by: her children, Larry L. Tyree, Jr., Sheila G. Griffin, Randy Garnette and Kelly G. Barker (Billy); and her sister Virginia M. Tatum. She is also survived by many grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
