We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2019, at the age of 97, Helen Garrett Ranson (Madison Heights, Virginia), born in Lynchburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben S. Garrett and Laverna Dickerson Garrett; and her daughter Donna Maddox. She is survived by: her son Thomas Ranson (Mary) of Amherst; her sisters, Iris Martin of Madison Heights and Marie Harris of Madison Heights; and her grandchildren, Tracy Heisler (Joe) of Madison Heights, Kimberly Casey of Amherst and Garrett Ranson of Madison Heights. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
