She was predeceased by: her spouse Sizer Bernice Purvis; her parents, Morris Soule Hunter and Hattie Lee Hunter; her sons, Soule B. Purvis and Morris H. Purvis; and her siblings, Grayson Hunter, Frank Hunter, Sr., Beatrice Carson, Hattie Carmichael, Bessie Dowdy, Lillian Snoot and Estelle Carson.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Lee Purvis of Madison Heights, Alfred Purvis (Susan) of Madison Heights and John Purvis (Delores) of Rustburg; and her sister Rosabelle Cash of Madison Heights. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oakdale Baptist Church.
