He was predeceased by: his father Ira Richard Tweedy; and his brother Bruce Allen Tweedy. He is survived by: his mother Rosabelle Trent Tweedy of Madison Heights; his sons, Glen Dale Tweedy Jr. (Peggy), John Richard Tweedy (Dale) of South Carolina, Douglas William Tweedy (Becky) and Kendall Ray Tweedy (Cassidy) of Madison Heights; his brothers, Dicky Tweedy of Madison Heights and Bobby Tweedy of Madison Heights; and his close friends, Allen Kendrick and Mark Blankenship. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
