With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geraldine Margaret McConnell of Madison Heights, Virginia, who passed away on March 24, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Gus Burford and Eloise Rebecca Woodroof Burford of Waugh; and her siblings, Jack Otway Burford, Roland Hugh Burford, Edward Scott Burford, Carolyn Elizabeth Burford Stinnett, Barbara "Julie" Anne Burford Brown and Rosalie Eloise Burford Craft.
She is survived by: her sister Aileen Rebecca Burford Young (Rachel Louise Burford Tomlin); her children, Margaret Ann McConnell Logwood and David Winthrop McConnell; and her grandchildren, Sherril Stilwell (Greg), Darrel Gallier (Stacey), Stephanie Micklem (Ronnie), Sheldon Logwood (Kellan), David McConnel II (Jennifer), Melissa McConnell Bradley (Daniel), Catie McConnell Hollyer (James) and Daniel McConnell. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
