It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Vernon Soult (Madison Heights, Virginia), born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter M. Soult and Martha J. Soult; and his daughter-in-law Charlotte Soult. He is survived by: his sons, Ronnie (Cheryl), Glenn (Cindy) and Victor; his grandchildren, Terri Booth (Terry), Ron Soult (Jeannie), Rev. Greg Soult (Maryanna) and Dr. Mandy Cassise (David); his great grandchildren, Taylyn, Kynsey, Ridge, Jolie, Evan, Brandon, Gavin, Josiah and Hannah; his cousin Joyce Purvis; and his close friend Barbara Stokes.
