She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Lee Rucker and Ruth Franklin Rucker; and her brothers, Richard Rucker and Wiley Rucker. She is survived by: her spouse Henry "Butch" Floyd Layne, III; her children, Terry Stinnett (Scott) of Madison Heights and Jerry Layne (Karen) of Rustburg; her sister Hollis Yeatts (Jimmy) of Goode; her sister-in-law Nancy Rucker of Yorktown; her grandchildren, Lauren Burnett (Lukas), Logan Layne and Colby Stinnett; and her close friends, Loretta Morgan and Carolyn Riddle. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Union Christian Church.
