He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Gillette Vernon; his son Chris Vernon (Robyn) of Crestview, FL; his granddaughters, Stella and Reese Vernon; and his brothers, Nyle Vernon of Minneola, FL and Gary Vernon (Alma) of Madison Heights. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
