He is survived by: his wife Betty Tomlin Tyree; his sons, Donald Franklin Tyree II (Melinda) and Derek Tyree; his grandchildren, Chelsey Tyree, Tre Tyree, Olivia Tyree, Ruger Tyree, Paxton Elder, Makynna Campbell, Ryan Dorr, Brandon Dorr and Knoah Kessler; his great grandchild Paisley Rae Uttley; and his sisters, Norma Jean Coleman (Gordon) and Mary Ann Stinnett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
