It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dean Angus Carwile of Madison Heights, Virginia, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bargamin Angus and Ruby Stratton Angus; her siblings, Henry "Jack" Angus, Odell Angus, Davis Angus, James Angus, Mary McGuire and Roselle Martin; and her nephews, Reginald Angus, Stephen Angus and Larry Angus.

She is survived by: her children, Ashley Carwile of Madison Heights and Jason Carwile (Christie) of Hardy; her grandchildren, Evan Carwile and Erin Carwile; her husband Berkley Evans Carwile; and her sister Beverly A. Wright (Sammy) of Piney River. She is also survived by 19 nieces, 14 nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Because of her love for dogs, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the ASPCA or your local no-kill animal shelter.
