He is survived by: his parent Phronia White Proffitt; his spouse Lois Freeman Proffitt; his children, Nancy Stowe, Kathy Hall, Karleen Eames (Mike) and Troy Proffitt (Shirley); his grandchildren, Jeremy Stowe, Jennifer Seay, Robert Argenbright, David Hall and Michael Eames; his great grandchildren, Carrington Creamer, Haylee Creamer, Wyatt Seay and Griffin Seay; his stepgrandchildren, Richard Robbins, Danny Robbins and Randy Robbins; his half-sister Evelyn Fitzgerald; his sister-in-law Rachel Proffitt; and also Kitty Tom. He is also survived by six step great grandchildren; one step great-great grandchild.
