It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bryant Elwood Ramsey of Madison Heights, Virginia, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lomonia Ramsey and Permelia Hughes Ramsey; his siblings, Wilfred, Wade Ramsey, Maybelle Wellman and Vada Watts; his daughters, Dianne Ramsey Scoville and Melinda Ramsey Capps; and his grandson Mitch Ramsey.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Rogers Ramsey; his children, Rick Ramsey (Jeannie) of Forest, VA and Sharon Ramsey of Madison Heights, VA; his sister Wynelle Mason of Buena Vista, VA; his grandchildren, Melissa Mull (Billy), Matt Ramsey, Mandy Burks (Logan) and Michael Sperberg (Heather); and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Marlee, Marrion, Khloe, Bella, Jack and Nova. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and their children.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory-Lynchburg (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
