She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Banton, Sr. and Madeline Woody Banton; and her brother Owen Banton, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Bernie Gowen; her children, Bradley Stinnette, Marsha Wells and Susan Anderson (Dean); her stepchildren, Bernard W. Gowen (Tara) and Lisa Sofley (Henry); her grandchildren, Taylor Anderson (Melissa), Meggin Wade (Bryan), Colby Stinnette (Travis), Corey Wells and Jesse Wells; her great grandchildren, Reid Anderson, Sadie Anderson and Zoe Brown; and her stepgrandchildren, Chandler, Braxton, Alex, Annie Gowen and Thomas Sofley.
