It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lockhart Reed (Madison Heights, Virginia), who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emma Lockhart and Charley Lockhart; her husband Jack K. Reed; her brothers, Marvin and Paul Lockhart; her daughters, Debbie Irvine (Bobby), Beverly O'Brien (George) and Jackie Reed Hodges; her grandchildren, Nick Irvine (Cary), Angie O'Brien, Jessica Martin (Jason), Robi Vandevander (Jeremy) and Kristin Kidd (David); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Nathan Irvine, Kaleigh, Melanie Bennett, Colin, Gabbi Scruggs, Alayna, Jay, Clellan Vandevander, Elizabeth and Emmalynn Kidd; her cousin Katherine Humphries; her sister-in-law Pansy Lockhart; and her friend Jenny Barnes.
