With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Ellington Moreland of Madison Heights, Virginia, born in Montvale, Virginia, who passed away on July 14, 2022 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Henry Ellington and Mable Johnson Ellington; her daughter Shelia Moreland; and her siblings, C. Ray Ellington, Wallace Henry Ellington, Virginia Viola Ellington and Dorothy May Ellington.

She is survived by: her children, Leslie R. Moreland (Kathy), Curtis G. Moreland (Joyce), Betty M. Neas, Theresa M. Nichols (Mark) and Darryl W. Moreland. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and Terri Culbertson her granddaughter/daughter.
