With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benjamin Darryl Lawhorn (Madison Heights, Virginia), born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on February 21, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pompey Lawhorn and Mittie Johns Lawhorn; and his siblings, Robert Lawhorn, Dudley Lawhorn, Calvin Lawhorn, John Lawhorn, Margret Hudson and Annie May Crenshaw.

He is survived by: his children, Patricia Whitten of Madison Heights, Ann Zenzen (Troy) of Madison Heights, Peggy Pettry (Byrd) of Madison Heights, Debbie Wray (David) of Lynchburg and David Wayne Newcomb (Darla) of Madison Heights. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
