She was predeceased by: her parents, Acie Bryant and Lessie Whorley Bryant; and her siblings, Hazel Bell, Catherine White and Acie Bryant.

She is survived by: her husband Edwin Lewis "Buzzy" McBride; her children, Stefani M. Martin (Earl) of Madison Heights, Kathy M. "Kate" McBride (David Hantoot) of Richmond and Thomas E. "Tec" McBride of Altavista; her grandchildren, Amanda Bigham (Weston), Jessica Wingfield (Carlton), Rebecca Hantoot (Matthew), Aaron Hantoot and Edwin T. McBride (Anna Lawhorne); her great grandchildren, Chase, Trey, Allie and Lilly; and her pet Jack.
