He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert D. Garrett, Sr. and Ethel Maxey Garrett; his wife Barbara Wright Garrett; and his siblings, T. Owen Garrett, William E. Garrett, Brenda G. Brooks and Dorothy G. Riddle.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Garrett (Becky) and Sharon G. Cash (Ricky); his grandchildren, Carrie Randall (Tim), Corey S. Cash (Kasie), Jenny Brown (Ben) and Daniel Garrett (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Caleigh, Avery, Addison, Kadynce, Parker, Killian, Paisley, Landry and Rhys; and his nephew Mike Garrett.
