It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernie Maddox Angus of Lyndhurst, Virginia, born in Lowesville, Virginia, who passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sam and Emma Maddox; her husband Davis Angus; and her siblings, Clayton, Wayne, Iline (Selma), Barbara, Eleanor and Shirley.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Angus, Wanda Mays (Gene), Debbie Angus, Patricia McKinney (Rick) and Stephanie Quick; her grandchildren, Joshua Angus (Ashleigh) and Affton Quick; her great grandchildren, Carson Angus and Adasyn Spears; and her brother Thomas Maddox (Joyce) of Amherst. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
