It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Anderson Painter of Lyndhurst, Virginia, born in Stuarts Draft, Virginia, who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer Parker Painter and Annie Elizabeth Sprouse; his wife Gail Farrar Painter; his children, Elizabeth, Brenton, African Grey Parrot and Cassidy; and his pet Puss Irving.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gordon's name to the Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center, 1001 Mt. Torrey Rd. Lyndhurst, VA 22952.
