He is survived by: his wife Margaret Wood; his children, Daniel "Danny" Wood, Jr., Tammy Karalevicz (Dave), Rodney Wood, Richard "Chad" Wood (Bridget), Frances Hayden (Jimmy), Lisa Marvin (Doug) and Frankie Wood; his grandchildren, Bridgette, Cordell, Jesse, Riley, Alex, Leann, Melissa, Caitlin, Simon, Sophie and Zach; his great grandchildren, Scarlett, Braxton and Kylee; and his siblings, Harold Wood (Debbie), Janice Richmond (Eddie), Joyce Sprouse, Nancy Kegley (T. A.), Brenda Garrison (Paul), Bernice Thacker (Jamie), Karen Wood (Ronnie), Debbie Brown (David), Helen Wood and Margie Wood.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Of the Brethren Cemetery (4152 Free Union Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22940).
