He was predeceased by: his mother Lois Whittington Winfrey; his brother Robert Winfrey of Lancaster, PA; his father William Lee "Bill" Winfrey; and his brother James Winfrey. He is survived by: his son Bryan "Walt" Winfrey (Lindsey) of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, William "Xander" Winfrey and Katherine Winfrey; his sister Diana "Dino" Dean of Timberville; his niece Katie Drake (Mike) of Harrisonburg; and his great-nephew Max.
