He is survived by: his wife Oveta McDaniel Adkins; his children, Deanna Oliver (Frank) of High Point, NC, Victor Adkins, Jr. (Analisa) of Austin, TX and Adrian Adkins (Courtney) of Virginia Beach, VA; his siblings, Dr. John Adkins, Jr. (Beth) of Silver Spring, MD, Diane Chandler of Lynchburg, VA and Dr. Darlene Adkins (Donald) of Montgomery, Alabama; and his siblings-in-law, Richard McDaniel (Phyllis) of Lynchburg, VA and Tanja Adkins. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
