With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Theresa Mawyer Watson of Lynchburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Theresa Mawyer may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Theresa Mawyer touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alfred Ray Mawyer and Betty Ayers Mawyer; her siblings, Melisa Mawyer and Stan Mawyer; and her nephews, Troy Mawyer (Olive) and Kris Mawyer (Amy).
In honor of Theresa's love for others, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Parkview Mission, a ministry that helps clothe and feed those in need.
