She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walter Jackson and Reva Watts Jackson; her siblings, Walter Lee, James, Joe Jackson and Daisy Louise Anderson; and her great grandchild Sherman LaQuintas Chambers.
She is survived by: her children, Reva Vanessa Banks (Clarence), Fred Tanner and Eric Tanner (Norma) of Lynchburg; her sisters, Yvonne Gilbert (Isiah) and Maxine Ross of Lynchburg; her brother-in-law McKinley Tanner of Arlington, Virginia.; and her grandchildren, Tasha Chambers, Demetria Tanner, Chanel Tanner, Dante Hancock, Niketra Bagby, Alica Tanner and Eric Tanner.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt Shiloh Baptist Church (5224 Reedy Spring Rd, Spout Spring, VA 24593).
