With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stanley W. Byrd Jr. of Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on May 27, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Byrd, Sr. and Frances L. Byrd; his grandmother Berda Lue Jennings; and his brother Curtis White. He is survived by: his children, Yolanda Dante Byrd, Jackie Carr and Phil Carr; his former wife Mary Byrd; his grandson Jhouldan Carr; his close friend Melissa Woolfolk; his friends, Vincent Woolfolk, Phillip Woolfolk and William Wells, Jr.; his brother Clarence Thomas; and his cousins, Gary Carpenter, Michael White, Phyllis Carpenter, Eva Moorman, Tony White and Richard White. He is also survived by his family and friends.
