She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard D. Fitzgerald and Littie C. Fitzgerald; her husband Frank B. Lawson; her sons, Harold D. Lawson, Larry F. Lawson and Ronald D. Lawson; and her sisters, Maola F. Waterman and Helen F. Phillips.
She is survived by: her siblings, Richard T. Fitzgerald (Margo), Judy F. Lawson, Naomi F. Bates and Jane F. Holland; and her goddaughters, Kim Bomar, Cheyene Abram (Taylor) and Makayla Bomar.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whitten Timberlake Chapel (7404 Timberlake Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
