Rose Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Rose Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rose Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hughes Sr. and Annie Smith Hughes; and her sisters, Etta Eubanks and Thelma Davis. She is survived by: her son Jeremy Eubanks; her siblings, Carl Hughes Jr., Nida McQueen, Sharon Pannell (Vernon) and Kimberly Hughes; her uncles, Curtis, Earl and James Smith; and her aunt Berniece Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home (909 Fifth St, Lynchburg, VA 24504).
