He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Mathies (Maurice) of New Jersey, Sabrina Harmon (Oscar) of Lynchburg and Rodney Mosley Jr. of Lynchburg; his sisters, Reva Mays and Justine Christian of Lynchburg; his niece Gladys Mays of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, Diamond, Ty, MJ Mathies of New Jersey, Makayla, Samenia Dodson, Kayden Beverly, Latasha Alexander (Jeremy), DeAndrea Harmon, Rodney Mosley III, Rodney Mosley IV, James, Victoria and Jasmine of Lynchburg; and his great grandchildren, Kamden, Kaisen, Ka'Nyah, AsAnna, Hezakyi, Erin and Ezrah of Lynchburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home (909 Fifth St, Lynchburg, VA 24504).
