He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Moore Branch; his son Robert H. Branch, Jr. (Marianne Buttles Branch) of Las Vegas, NV; his grandchildren, Nathan, Hannah and Bethany; and his sister Nancy Branch Smith.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Heritage Baptist Church (219 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
