We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Richey Lee Scott of Lynchburg, Virginia, born in Davenport, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Richey Lee may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richey Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Scott and Margaret Lynn Scott. He is survived by: his wife Iva Worsham Scott; his children, Erin Scott (Thressa) and Margo Anderson (Scott); his stepdaughter Gina Moore (John); and his brothers, Gary Scott (Diane) and Phillip Scott. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heritage United Methodist Church.
