He is survived by: his wife Vickie Lynn Robertson Dixon; his granddaughter Summer Herndon (Nalijah) of Amherst; his great grandchildren, Kamilla Herndon, Krisslynn Herndon and King Herndon; his brother-in-law Abby Long of Danville; and his pets, Scrappy and Bambi.
