It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Horsley III (Lynchburg, Virginia), who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Richard Jr. Horsley and Carol Horsley; his daughters, Nakeea Okwuse (Orgorchukwu), Emanuelle Lillard (Bryan), Keiseanna Horsley, Chyna Horsley, Katissa Horsley and Kayla Horsley; his grandchildren, Amiya, Cadence, Destiny, Jesiah, Jeremiah, Khiyan and Elijah; and his brother Troy Horsley. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Faith Temple (3100 Hill St, Lynchburg, VA 24501).

During his high school years, he made positive contributions to the basketball team which gained him notoriety recognition as a valuable player.
