She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Patrick and Louise Patrick; her husband William E. Elam; and her brothers, Johnny Patrick and Jesse Patrick.
She is survived by: her children, Loleta Elam and Randy Elam; her siblings, Mamie Clark, Livian Peerman, Patty Watts, Steve Patrick and Michael Patrick; her granddaughter Amber Chapman; her great grandchildren, Janessa, Jesse, Abby, Isaiah and Adonis; and her brother-in-law Robert Elam (Charmaigne). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
