Mary Jean left this world on December 26, 2024 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale King and Pearl Bishop King; her son-in-law Timothy Mock; and her sisters, Carolyn Strait and Patricia Mahatzke.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Mock, Scott Rice (Mekel), Tina Boyer (Nate) and Natalie Bell (Jeremy); and her siblings, Shirley Johnston, Janice Barron and Gary King (Carol). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heritage Funeral Service & Crematory (427 Graves Mill Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the Virginia Memorial Park (11490 Forest Rd, Forest, VA 24551).
