She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Dianne Wellons of Newport News, VA and Dennis Ray Charlton (Pam) of Lynchburg, VA; her sisters, Ruby Edlow (George) of Baltimore, MD and Ruth Cabler of Manassas, VA; her grandchildren, LaVelle Jones and Ray Charlton, Jr.; her nephew Albert Hewitt; and her goddaughter France Dawson of Lynchburg, VA. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel Grove Baptist Church (1046 Chapel Grove Rd, Evington, VA 24550). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
