He is survived by: his children, Karen Skelton (Samuel), Crystal Funderburk (Nathan) and Jason Harper (Nicole); and his grandchildren, William "Will" Skelton, Katlyn Skelton, Rebekah Funderburk, Haden Funderburk, Hudson Funderburk, Kaylynn Allison, Jonathan Harper, Jaida Harper and Riley Harper.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital, Campbell County Sheriff's Department, or Virginia State Police organizations near and dear to Marvin.
