She was predeceased by: her parents, William Norman Hurst and Gertrude Carter Broersma Hurst. She is survived by: her daughter Amanda W. Edwards (Byron) of Richmond; her grandchildren, Julia Grace Edwards and William Wright Edwards of Richmond; and her siblings, Richard Hurst (Judy) of Walnut Cove, NC and Helen Snow of Forest.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church (4660 Fort Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Spring Hill Cemetery (3000 Fort Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24501).
