He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald William "Bill" Hutchinson and Bertha Sluder Hutchinson; his son Brent Alan Hutchinson; his sister Judy Karen Harris; and his brother-in-law James "Jim".
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Hutchinson Kelley and Frank William Hutchinson (Karen Lynette Alexander); his grandsons, Wyatt Russell Kelley (Grace Carwile) and River Greyson Hutchinson; his brother Howard Delmas Hutchinson (Judy); and his nieces and nephews, Danny Hutchinson, Rodney Hutchinson (Karen), Kristi Hutchinson, Jeff Harris (Kerry), John Harris (Nicki), James Harris (Virginia) and Victoria Brewster.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
