She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Miller Davis and Henry Lee Davis; her husband Roger Lee Smith; her brothers, Wallace Davis, Arthur Davis (Pauline), Roy Davis, Howard Davis and Randolph Davis; and her brothers-in-law, William Smith (MaryAnn), Steve Smith (Helen) and David Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Nan Smith (Greg); her grandchildren, Ceairra Ferguson, Cyan Smith and Cemondre Ferguson (Rebecca); her siblings-in-law, Lois Jones, Sally Smith, Maggie Smith, Phyllis Smith, Maxine Davis, Charlotte Davis, Roosevelt Smith (Maxine) and Michael Smith (Mary); her nieces and nephews, Kendra Williams (Shawnta), Nicole Boyd (Michael), Pamela Carpenter (Shaun), Debora Dearing, Shaunna Davis, Amy Jones, Monica Smith, Angela Chambers, Ruth Bowman, Genise M. Barnes, Pamela Williams, Marvena Moorman Lockett, Karen Sherry, Sandy Jones, Angela Burns (Jeremy), Brian Smith (Renee), Tim Smith, Mark Smith, Russell Smith, Bryant Davis, Wallace Davis Jr., Anthony Lewis, John Davis, Tony Davis, Shawn Davis, David Smith Jr. and Ronnie Jones; her uncle Jonathan Miller (Estelle); her aunt Edna Miller; her godsons, Craig and Reggie Terrell; and her friend Doris Terrell. She is also survived by cousins, friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the New Free Springs Baptist Church (1241 New Chapel Rd, Rustburg, VA 24588).
