He is survived by: his daughters, Brianna Kay Fitzgerald (Justin) and Kayla O'Hara Dudley (Josh); his parents, Willis Lee Fitzgerald and Rana Martin Geralis (Mike); his siblings, David Epp Farmer Jr. (Lee Ann), Heather Fitzgerald Finch (Brian), Tori Fitzgerald Carwile (Michael) and Angelina Geralis; his aunts, Judith Fitzgerald Dawson and Tara Martin Kosegi; and his uncle Patrick Kelly Fitzgerald.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lake Vista Community Center (200 Lake Forest Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24551).
The family also requests in lieu of flowers to donate in Jon's honor to either the Lynchburg Humane Society or Suicide Prevention.
